Introduction

  • Logo Building for Student Success

The support of San Rafael City Schools voters, has improved and modernized our facilities and infrastructure, supporting student learning throughout the District. Voters approved Measures A & B bond measures on the November 2015 ballot and then approved Measures B and C on the 2022 ballot. Thanks to bond funding, SRCS is making significant and lasting improvements to benefit every student.

    Tim Ryan

Before joining SRCS in 2023, Tim performed facility planning and bond program implementation for the Burlingame School District for nearly 10 years, and for the Mill Valley School District for 6 years.

Tim has led the creation of Educational Specifications and the Facility Master Planning process, and then implemented bond programs in Mill Valley and Burlingame, with three successful school bond elections based on those plans.

Tim’s 13 years leading Maintenance and Operations has shown him the importance of coordination between Capital Improvements and the Maintenance and Operations Team. To be successful, the SRCS program will study the impact on the team that will have to maintain the projects long after construction is complete.

Tim lives in Marin County and is glad once again to be working locally.
