Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee

  • The SRCS Board of Education has appointed a Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) to provide a high level of accountability and transparency in the implementation of the bond program, in accordance with Proposition 39.  The committee will offer independent review of the expenditure of money for the construction, repair and modernization of schools by SRCS. The findings will be shared with the Board of Education and the public in order to ensure that school bond funds are invested as the voters intended and that projects are completed wisely and efficiently. The CBOC is comprised of voluntary representatives from the SRCS community.

Thank you for your interest in getting involved in our bond program!

Community engagement is critical to our success. There are two ways to get involved: school site facilities committees and the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) whose members are appointed by the Board of Education. Contact your local school for information on their committee.

We encourage interested, qualified members of the SRCS community to apply for the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). To learn more about joining, please review the committee bylaws, which contain the criteria for the committee's makeup and how to qualify. Click here to download an application. Please submit completed applications to:
