Program Management Services
San Rafael City Schools has a robust and talented team leading our $269 million school improvement program supported by Measures A and B.
Following a thorough and extensive search and interview process for program management services, the SRCS Board of Education approved the hiring of Van Pelt Construction Services (VPCS) in June 2016 to guide the eight-year program. Through their program management services, VPCS will work in collaboration with District staff, architects, contractors and consultants in all phases of construction, including:
- Planning and design development
- Procurement of contractors and related services
- Construction of new and renovation of existing facilities
- Project close-out and commissioning
Founded in 1996 by Mark and Michael Van Pelt, VPCS is a leading Northern California program and construction management firm specializing in school, university and healthcare projects. Headquartered in Fairfield, the firm has maintained a steady pattern of growth in its first 20 years of operation and has worked on scores of projects of virtually all sizes throughout the state.
