Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee
-
The SRCS Board of Education has appointed a Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) to provide a high level of accountability and transparency in the implementation of the bond program, in accordance with Proposition 39. The committee will offer independent review of the expenditure of money for the construction, repair and modernization of schools by SRCS. The findings will be shared with the Board of Education and the public in order to ensure that school bond funds are invested as the voters intended and that projects are completed wisely and efficiently. The CBOC is comprised of voluntary representatives of the SRCS community.
How to Join
We encourage interested, qualified members of the SRCS community to apply for the CBOC. To learn more about joining, please review the committee bylaws, which contain the criteria for the committee's makeup and how to qualify. Click here to download an application.
